ABOUT US

AL-IKHLAS Language Centre is a member of an Authorised ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) and International Center of the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations - formerly known as the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate English as a Foreign Language (UCLES EFL) - in Malaysia.
The University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate (UCLES) was established in 1858 to set a standard of efficiency for schools in England. It has since been expanded to include examinations for the international market.
In October 2002, UCLES EFL became 'Cambridge ESOL Examinations'. Cambridge has chosen this title to reflect the increasing diversity of its candidates, ranging from those in the 'traditional' language school sector to the growing number of people living, studying and working in English-speaking countries for whom English is not the first language.
AI-Ikhlas Language Centre recognises that for learning to be effective, students must study in an environment that promotes good learning as well as effective and regular use of the language. They should be coached by qualified teachers and taught in a manner that facilitates the acquisition of knowledge.

Al-Ikhlas's vision is to be a partner in the success of our students' education. We help students improve their command of the language, which leads to greater confidence in learning and the pursuit of tertiary education as well as success in career and business. We build language skills to help develop dynamic individuals with a zeal for learning and knowledge acquisition. These skills are based on the unique Cambridge syllabus that focuses on all four language-learning skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking. Cambridge has a track record of more than 150 years and has trained and examined students the world over.
